The applications of a fireproof mat are varied. Most often, the FireMat lies under electrical appliances in the office. It also protects the induction hob and the floor in front of the fireplace. Here you will find all areas of use and the matching edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Fireproof mat for electrical appliances<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coffee machines, kettles and toasters get hot. If an appliance is faulty, the worktop can catch fire in the worst case. That is why the German <a href=\"https:\/\/firemat.de\/en\/dguv-rule-115-401-office-sector\/\">DGUV Rule 115-401<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/firemat.de\/en\/vds-2000-fire-protection-in-the-workplace\/\">VdS 2000<\/a> guideline recommend a non-combustible base for offices. In Bavaria, the <a href=\"https:\/\/firemat.de\/en\/ordinance-on-the-prevention-of-fires-vvb\/\">VVB<\/a> also requires this. The FireMat is certified by T\u00dcV S\u00dcD according to DIN EN ISO 11925-2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Typical appliances<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coffee machine and bean-to-cup coffee machine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kettle and toaster<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Microwave and mini oven<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Air fryer and food processor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chargers for mobile phones and laptops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For offices, we recommend the <a href=\"https:\/\/firemat.de\/en\/produkt\/firemat-black-edition-fireproof-mat-for-electrical-appliances-according-to-din-en-iso-11925-2\/\">Black Edition<\/a> or the non-slip <a href=\"https:\/\/firemat.de\/en\/produkt\/firemat-silk-edition-fire-resistant-mat-for-electrical-appliances-non-slip-coated\/\">Silk Edition<\/a>. Protection for the induction hob<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the induction hob, place the FireMat between the pot and the glass. This prevents scratches, and boil-overs land on the mat. Afterwards, simply wash it in the machine. The Black Edition and the Silk Edition are suitable for this. The mat is not suitable for ceramic hobs without induction. Fireplace, outdoor and camping<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For outdoor use and in front of the fireplace, there is the <a href=\"https:\/\/firemat.de\/en\/produkt\/firemat-gold-edition-fireproof-mat-outdoor-indoor-water-and-oil-impermeable-non-slip\/\">Gold Edition<\/a>. It is coated on both sides and therefore withstands moisture and dirt well. In front of the wood-burning stove, it catches sparks and ash. If embers or soot fall on the mat, simply wipe it with a damp cloth. When you do not need it, roll it up and put it away.
