Since constant supervision is generally not possible, the use of a fire protection mat for such devices is recommended. <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fire Protection in the Office Kitchen &#8211; VVB Establishes Clear Rules for Electrical Appliances<\/h2>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore, all electrical appliances are best placed on a fireproof and non-combustible surface. This applies not only to ubiquitous kitchen appliances such as coffee makers, kettles, or toasters, but also to <strong>electric radiant heaters,<\/strong> <strong>electric blankets<\/strong>, <strong>infrared devices<\/strong>, <strong>heating pads<\/strong>, <strong>heated carpets<\/strong>, and <strong>parabolic heaters<\/strong>. As a rule, only with the help of such a fire protection mat can the surface be prevented from becoming too hot and potentially catching fire.  <\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Incidentally, it is mandatory for all <strong>extractor systems<\/strong> used for commercial purposes to be inspected at least twice a year.
