It bears the symbol F005 according to DIN EN ISO 7010. Thanks to its V shape, it can be seen from several directions. That makes it especially suitable for corridors and corners. It also has a long afterglow according to DIN 67510-1, class C.

Product details

Symbol: fire alarm call point (F005)

Standard: DIN EN ISO 7010

Design: angle sign (projecting sign)

Dimensions: 150 × 150 × 25 mm

Material: plastic

Photoluminescent according to DIN 67510-1, class C

Mounting via four holes

Where does the fire alarm call point angle sign go?

The fire alarm call point angle sign goes directly above the manual call point. There it can be seen from both directions of the corridor. This way, everyone finds the call point quickly in case of fire. For flat walls, there is also the fire alarm call point sign.

Is the marking mandatory?

In German workplaces, yes. The technical rule ASR A1.3 sets out how safety signs look and where they go. In addition, ASR A2.2 requires fire-fighting equipment to be clearly marked. That is why every location needs the right fire safety sign. Our article Safety signs and their meaning explains what the signs mean.

Which size is right?

Flag and angle signs project from the wall. This means they can also be seen from the side, for example in a long corridor. A flat wall sign, on the other hand, can only be recognised there when you are standing right in front of it. Our guide Flag sign or angle sign? explains more.

Why photoluminescent?

The film stores light from its surroundings. If the power fails, the sign continues to glow greenish for a while. This keeps it easy to see even in the dark. The film complies with DIN 67510-1, the standard for photoluminescent safety signs.

Installation

The sign has four holes. Use them to screw it securely to the wall. Mount it above head height so that nobody bumps into it. Directly below the ceiling is not a good place, however, because smoke collects there first.

Matching signs

You can find more signs in our categories fire safety signs and flag and angle signs.
