Washing Instructions for FireMat Black Edition and Silk Edition

To ensure you enjoy it for a long time, we would like to share some important care instructions and warnings. Please note: FireMat® is not suitable for conventional ceramic cooktops (glass-ceramic cooktops). However, the model is perfect for use on an induction cooktop or induction stove, as a splash guard, as a fireproof mat, and for electrical appliances such as coffee machines, microwaves, and kettles.

FireMat is characterized by the following features:

• Heat resistance up to 300°C • Flame resistance • No melting point • Self-extinguishing • No embrittlement in the low-temperature range

To clean your FireMat, we recommend wet cleaning at a temperature of 60°C. Please use only liquid, non-highly alkaline detergents. Please refrain from using optical brighteners, bleaching agents, or fabric softeners. We recommend a maximum ironing temperature of level 2. Please note that dry cleaning is not possible.
