Washing instructions for FireMat Black Edition and Silk Edition

So that you can enjoy it for a long time, we would like to share some important care instructions and warnings. Please note: FireMat® is not suitable for conventional ceramic hobs (glass-ceramic hobs). However, it is ideal for use on an induction hob, as splash protection, as a fireproof mat and under electrical appliances such as coffee machines, microwaves and kettles.

FireMat stands out for the following properties:

• Heat-resistant up to 300 °C • Flame-resistant • No melting point • Self-extinguishing • No embrittlement at low temperatures

To clean your FireMat, we recommend wet cleaning at a temperature of 60 °C. Please use only liquid, non-highly-alkaline detergents. Please do not use optical brighteners, bleach or fabric softener. We recommend ironing at a maximum of setting 2. Please note that dry cleaning is not possible.
