About FireMat – your partner for fire protection

About FireMat: we make fire protection simple in everyday life. The brand is owned by Keycoon GmbH from Frankfurt am Main. Our most important product is the FireMat fireproof mat, made in Germany. We also offer signs, fireproof bags and first aid accessories, so you can equip your office, school or home from a single source.

Our core product: the fireproof mat

The FireMat belongs under coffee machines, kettles, toasters or microwaves. If an appliance gets hot or is faulty, it protects the worktop. The material is certified by TÜV SÜD according to DIN EN ISO 11925-2. It is also washable and withstands temperatures up to 300 °C. That is why authorities, schools, nurseries and companies rely on FireMat. Many order 30 to 50 mats at once for all their staff kitchens.

Signs for fire protection and escape routes

In workplaces, fire extinguishers, escape routes and first aid must be marked. For this we offer signs according to DIN EN ISO 7010. Many of them also glow in the dark. Which signs you need is explained in our guide Warning signs and safety signs.

Fireproof bags

In our fireproof bags you can keep passports, contracts and cash protected. They hold off flames and heat for a while. They are not a safe, though. We say that openly, because honest advice matters to us. Read more in the guide fireproof bag.
