FireMat FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Our FireMat is suitable for many areas of application. However, it is most frequently used for fire protection in offices. Many offices are still unaware that a fireproof mat for electrical appliances is mandatory.

Within Germany, you will generally receive your goods within 2-3 business days after we receive your order.
We primarily ship via DHL.
Ordering and payment by invoice is available for companies, businesses, authorities, and public institutions.
To order by invoice, please add the desired products and quantities to your shopping cart and then select the option “Purchase on account – 14 days net” under payment methods at checkout.
After receiving the goods, please transfer the invoice amount to our bank account within 14 days.
Send your official, written order on company letterhead as an email attachment to info@firemat.de.
If you first need to set up KeyCoon GmbH as a supplier in your system, please use the master data from our legal notice.
Your written order must include the following information:
The desired item numbers or product names and quantities.
Billing and delivery address.
Additionally, you can include your internal purchase order number or any other reference you would like to appear on the invoice.
After your order has been received and processed, you will receive an order confirmation, the invoice, and further information regarding delivery via email.
Yes. The Silk and Black Editions are machine washable. To clean your FireMat, we recommend wet cleaning at a temperature of 60°C (140°F). Please use only liquid, non-highly alkaline detergents. Please do not use optical brighteners, bleach, or fabric softeners. We recommend a maximum ironing temperature of setting 2. Please note that dry cleaning is not possible.

1. Roll the mat in the opposite direction: If the mat curls up at the sides, try rolling it in the opposite direction to relax it and keep it flat.
2. Use adhesive tape: Tape the corners of the mat to the surface with double-sided adhesive tape to ensure it stays flat.
3. Weigh down the corners: Place something heavy on each corner of the mat to keep it flat. This could be books, bottles, or other heavy objects.
