Which FireMat suits you? All FireMat variants protect surfaces and electrical appliances against heat, sparks and fire. However, they differ in material, coating and area of use. Here you will find an overview of the editions.

The FireMat variants at a glance
FireMat Black Edition: the classic
The FireMat Black Edition offers:
- Material: pure fabric made of aramid and Panox, flame-retardant.
- Protection: it keeps out heat and flying sparks and thus protects your surfaces.
- Design: plain and black, it fits into offices and kitchens.
- Use: at home, in the office and on the go.
- Induction: it also protects the induction hob against scratches. It is not suitable for ceramic hobs without induction.
The Black Edition is therefore the versatile basic choice.
FireMat Silk Edition: non-slip and wipeable
The FireMat Silk Edition also offers:
- Material: aramid fabric with silicone coating.
- Non-slip: the coating keeps the mat in place even on smooth surfaces.
- Care: simply wipe off stains with a damp cloth.
- Design: the glossy surface looks modern.
- Induction: the Silk Edition is very well suited to the induction hob.
This gives you protection and good grip in one product.
FireMat Silk-A Edition: with an aluminium layer
The FireMat Silk-A Edition also offers:
- Material: aramid fabric with an aluminium layer (AHV) on top.
- Radiant heat: the aluminium reflects radiant heat and repels water and oil.
- Non-slip: like the Silk Edition, it has a non-slip silicone coating.
- Care: the surface is easy to clean.
If you need extra protection against heat and liquids, the Silk-A Edition is the right choice. Important: because of the aluminium layer, it conducts electricity.
FireMat GreenSilk Edition: for electrical appliances in the office
The FireMat GreenSilk Edition offers:
- Material: aramid fabric with a green silicone coating.
- Use: particularly suitable for coffee machines, microwaves and kettles in the office.
- Non-slip: the silicone layer ensures a secure grip on smooth surfaces.
The GreenSilk Edition is therefore the coloured alternative to the Silk Edition.
What all variants have in common
All FireMat variants offer:
- Tested safety: every FireMat is certified by TÜV SÜD according to DIN EN ISO 11925-2.
- Ideal for electrical appliances: coffee machines, microwaves or toasters stand safely.
- Induction protection: the Black Edition and Silk Edition also protect the induction hob against scratches and dirt.
