It is simply placed on the induction cooktop before cooking and should remain there until the work is finished.
This not only prevents scratches on your valuable induction cooktop. You also no longer have problems if food accidentally boils over or spills: the FireMat reliably protects your cooktop, so no more splashes land on the stove. Any dirt is reliably collected by this protector mat.
After cooking, the FireMat is simply removed. If the protector mat is heavily soiled, it can be easily cleaned in the washing machine.
