Fireproof craft mat: advantages of the FireMat

A fireproof craft mat protects your table when soldering, hot-gluing and doing pyrography. The tools get very hot, and a burn mark appears quickly. The FireMat does not keep burning when a hot soldering iron lies on it. That is why many hobbyists and model builders use it as a permanent mat on their craft table.

What do you need a fireproof craft mat for?

Why the FireMat?

How big should the mat be?

Choose a mat that fits both the tool and the workpiece. A small mat is often enough for a single soldering station. For a whole craft table, take a large mat or lay two side by side.
