FireMat RFID Travelbag – fireproof travel organiser

When travelling, you often carry your passport, cards and cash with you all day. The RFID Travelbag keeps all of this together in one place. It is flat, light and fits under your clothes. It also protects the contents from water and heat. In addition, it blocks radio signals so that nobody can secretly read contactless cards.

What does RFID protection do?

Many bank cards and ID cards contain a radio chip. With a suitable reader it can be read from a short distance. The RFID Travelbag shields these signals. This keeps your data better protected in crowds at airports and stations.

On the go and at home

When travelling, you wear the RFID Travelbag as a neck pouch under your clothes. At home, it serves as a place for passports and cards. This way you will find everything immediately before your next holiday. It is also within easy reach in the event of a fire.

What a fireproof bag can do – and what it cannot

A fireproof bag protects its contents from flames, sparks and heat for a while. In a long, fully developed fire it can still get very hot inside. Paper starts to discolour at around 200 °C, and electronics are even more sensitive. The Travelbag protects against sparks and short-term heat, but it is not a safe. Therefore, also keep copies of important documents in another place. You can read more in our guide fireproof bags.
