Fireproof Material: Fire protection is an important task in the office. It concerns the protection of employees’ lives, and therefore, this topic should receive special priority in all institutions. It is often observed that complex and expensive fire protection measures are considered and implemented, while very important and simple (as well as comparatively inexpensive) measures – such as using fireproof material for fire protection pads – are simply overlooked.

Fireproof Material: Pay Attention to These Properties
Fireproof material should at least bear the additional designation B1, because only then is it considered a flame-retardant substance according to German DIN standards. It would be even better if the material carried the designation “Non-combustible.”
Aramid fibers are particularly suitable for use as fireproof pads. Among other applications, they are used in aerospace and car racing, where they are intended to provide protection against fire.
