Fireproof mat for coffee makers and electrical appliances

Meet fire safety requirements: Fireproof mats are mandatory in the office!

Anyone operating electrical devices—such as a kettle or coffee maker—in an office environment should note that there is an obligation to place such electrical devices on a fireproof mat due to their fire hazard (see, among others, VdS 2000 “Fire Protection in Operations”, BGI 562 Fire Protection (page 8), and §8 of the VVB (Regulation for the Prevention of Fires).

Induction cooktop: How to use the FireMat during the cooking process!

It is simply placed on the induction cooktop before cooking and should remain there until the work is finished.

This not only prevents scratches on your valuable induction cooktop. You also no longer have problems if food accidentally boils over or spills: the FireMat reliably protects your induction stove so that no splashes land on the stove. All dirt is reliably caught by this protective cloth.

After cooking, the FireMat is simply removed.
If the protective cloth is very dirty, it can be easily cleaned in the washing machine and is then immediately ready for use again if needed.

The fireproof mat for candles

Cleaning the FireMat

The FireMat is cleaned in a standard washing machine
(up to 60°C, do not use fabric softener)
Use only liquid, non-highly alkaline detergents.

The fireplace spark protection mat

In addition to its main use as a fire protection mat for electrical appliances, our FireMat is also an excellent fireplace spark protection mat. This protects not only the floor but also walls and fireplace surrounds from dangerous flying sparks.

Many fireplace owners have experienced it: you just want to quickly add some wood to the fireplace. This leads to flying sparks, and the floor is quickly soiled and, in the worst case, even damaged.

To avoid such flying sparks and associated fire damage, you can simply lay out the area around the fireplace—ideally with a width of at least 50 cm—with our protective mat for the fireplace and thus protect the floor from damage with the FireMat. This is particularly important if there is parquet, laminate, or even carpet in the respective room. Such surfaces are easily flammable and should therefore be specially protected.
