Therefore, all electrical appliances are best placed on a fireproof and non-combustible surface. This applies not only to ubiquitous kitchen appliances such as coffee makers, kettles, or toasters, but also to electric radiant heaters, electric blankets, infrared devices, heating pads, heated carpets, and parabolic heaters. As a rule, only with the help of such a fire protection mat can the surface be prevented from becoming too hot and potentially catching fire.

Incidentally, it is mandatory for all extractor systems used for commercial purposes to be inspected at least twice a year. Among other things, this determines whether the devices are functioning perfectly and do not pose a hazard.
